All too familiar with that find. After the mess they make, you may want to just burn it down and rebuild. Those are some nasty, smelly birds. #dead rodents, #hair balls, #bird poop

This is a fellow lease members blind and my two suggestions were: 1. Burn it down, and 2. Call the turtle man, then burn it down.

Go with option 2. As nasty as owls are, those young ones will eat many mice and rats for you over the years.

At least their parents are good providers.

Abandon ship. Put up a cheap (tight) alternate in the same area until he can rebuild.

It would not be advisable to be a field mouse in that part of the pasture right now. I have to think that owl is picking off mice at the feeder it overlooks. Win/win for them.

Flashback; I remember helping a buddy outside Cotulla clean Owl destroyed blinds on the property he bought, nasty.
But I love those varmit and pest eating owls up
