Thinking of trying one out for CC. Always been a Glock fan but really liking the ergonomics of it and the grip safety is a bonus. Read a lot of good reviews. Anybody have any bad reviews on them? Thanks.

Never had trouble with an xd. However, I'd go with a single stack for cc.

I have a compact single 1911 .45. I should've said for carrying, not necessarily 'concealed'. I carry OWB w/a shirt hanging over it but no longer concerned if my shirt rides a little high or if it becomes unconcealed. I carried a G23 this way & it's a bit bigger than the Mod2 sub-compact.

I can't believe I haven't got more hits on this thread. Is this not a very popular gun?

Well, I hope it's good because I ordered one today! In FDE it comes w/1 9rd mag & 1 12rd mag. Ordered an extra 12rd mag. I'll post back after I shoot it.
