closer to the d-fw area would be great. I am not sure what you call it , tacticool shooting or sportshooting but like to get out and shoot a shotgun. A couple years back I called around and most gun-ranges did not offer any help. Most did skeet , which would be fun also, but nothing else.

most definitely going to start there, looks fun. I guess Im really looking for just open space with a couple cases of full coke cans.

Look up Magnum Sports Center in Sanger. I know its further than you'd like but he would probably let you shoot how and what you want.

There are usually large tracts of land near dams, belonging to the Army Corps of Engineers that allow shotgun-only hunting. Ask at just about any marina, or at the dam office. A lot of times, lake maps will have those areas marked.

Make sure you have a hunting license.
