I want to purchase a take off rifle barrel in 7mm. Needs to be 28" plus in length. 7 mag, 280 would work but so would other 7 mm cal. Thanks

I have a 7mag barrel off of a Sendero, but it's not 28".
26 at most.

I have a custom chambered Kreiger MTU profile 7 mag barrel. It's threaded for a Remington action. It's 25" but it shoots lights out.

Guys, let me fill everyone in a little more. I want a take off 7mm barrel to rechamber to a 7x57 Mauser. That is the reason it needs to be (I think) 28 inches. If I cut the old chamber off 4 inch, rechamber & thread I should have 22-23" of actual barrel. I am still looking. Thanks Daniel

I may be wrong but I believe you would only need to cut 1-2" or so....cutting the new chamber would take care of the rest.

P_102, I am not a gunsmith so the 4" was a WAG based on the length of a 7 mag. I can see where 2" might be enough but the gunsmith would be the one doing the calculation. Thanks
