OH, I thought it was because you had little johnson complex and was over compensating...you know kinda like the big truck thing Ain't nothing wrong with a 10mm but given the chance to tease you I'm always gonna take that opportunity.

I have been a 10mm fan for many years, have owned five different 10mm autos. Lately I've been interested in the EAA Witness, I've never had one of those. My favorite so far is the obsolete Colt Double Eagle. Eventually I hope to find another one of those.

Any recommendations for holsters for the 10mm? 20 / 29 / 40
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

Any recommendations for holsters for the 10mm? 20 / 29 / 40 I'm wearing an IWB Cross Breed for my G29 and G20 now. It fits the G40 also, but the dang barrel is too long down your pants (LOL!). I like the positioning of the Cross Breed, and wear 99% of the time. It holds both pistols equally well.

My next CC pistol will be 10mm. Have a G40 but it's a tad too big.

Check out White Hat Holsters, .40 cal Sigs fits me nicely especially the single clip holster IWB. 10mm sure packs a punch.

10mm is awesome round, and I'd carry one, but the 357 Sig is pretty nice too....
All that said, so that everyone around me, at home, on the road, etc, has a good round that all can handle, modern 9mm's with modern ammo, are going to work fine.
Sure, one shot, I want all I can get, but that message makes me want a 44 mag

With modern ammo, the decisions get tougher because the lines get blurred in a hurry with "what if's."
I'm old, so .357/.44 mag are my heavy hitters. After so many years of shooting my revolvers I'm pretty good with them, so I am likely to connect. But the 15-17 rounds of good 9mm +P ammo that live in the magazines of my daily gun can do some pretty amazing things too!
But then, the Desert Eagle 50AE that I had for awhile pokes a pretty big hole in what you hit up close.
It goes on and on I suppose.

I wish CZ made a 10mm other than the 1911 platform. I love my CZ Custom 75 PCR and P-01 both of which I alternate carrying. The fit in the hand is amazing, but those are only in 9mm. Sig 229 and 226 seem a bit bulky and heavy for EDC. My Glock 40 (as Chad noted) is huge and feels like you're trying to strap a fence post in your pants. Great round though......

Interesting story. Especially the comments. The shooter actually weighed in to explain his actions and why he shot his toe off.

I've started carryin my G40 in an M7 Tanker rig. Fits like a glove and the weight isn't noticeable. Thing is stupid accurate with the optic on it.

I just picked up a brand new EAA Witness/Tangfolio 10MM. I have to say that this pistol feels better in my hand than any other pistol I have ever held. Since I got it, I have been sitting in front of the TV each night after work just holding it in my hand, and it feels as if each time I pick it up it has taken on more & more the actual shape of my hand.
Someone above mentioned wanting one of these pistols-I say go for it! They are still out there but they are selling now for MORE THAN what they cost when they were brand new. I paid a little more for the one I got because it was brand new, in the box, with all paperwork.
If you plan on shooting really hot hand-loads, or full power commercial ammo, you will need to upgrade the pistol with the Hennings "tune up" kit. Comes with stronger recoil spring, brass buffer, better guide rod which distributes the load from recoil better and prevents frame/slide damage. I have only shot my pistol 10 times so far with Sig Sauer ammo (neutered ammo) but as soon as my tune up kit comes in I will be hand loading some full power loads using 800X. People are getting in excess of 1650FPS using the Nosler 135 grain Jacketed hollow points, and 800X. I don't want to load that hot, but I do want to be hotter than most of the factory ammo on the shelves at Academy. It is a full-size HEAVY pistol but I will be carrying it concealed. The witness will hold 14 rounds of 10MM ammo so that was appealing to me as well.
A hog is nothing more than a bullet receptacle.

Any recommendations for holsters for the 10mm? 20 / 29 / 40 Not sure whether you're looking for a concealment type holster or not. I have a Safariland ALS 6377 that I carry my G20 with a Streamlight TLR-1 in and I love it. Fits the gun perfectly, great retention, and a great easy to use thumb release that doesn't require you to push toward the trigger guard like some, which I consider dangerous. I used mine for walking walking around the woods on my property (we have hogs around). It's marketed as a concealment holster, but that model is not very good for that IMO. They do offer others with better concealment too.
