Hi All,
I've just moved to Austin recently and am looking at Dove season being my first season hunting. I was planning on walking on to public land mostly, and I thought I'd reach out and see if there is anyone else planning on the same that wouldn't mind some company. I've done quite a bit of sport shooting (trap), so not new to shooting - just to hunting.

Welcome to the forum. You can also look around at dove hunts and dove leases. They are relatively cheap and you can meet some great people

Welcome Sailor Soane
Get your APH, that will provide access and maps to public dove hunts. Your odds will be much better if you can afford a day hunt or two on private land.
