I found Ernie here on the forum in the classifieds . He makes custom leather goods, featuring rifle slings. Like most of you, I own probably 20 rifle slings, they are all great and work as they are supposed to. Ernie's are different, they are one offs, one of a kind, custom made to your specs. I ordered one for my daughter as an early Christmas present for when we go on our annual Father/Daughter deer hunt. She's 26 but still Daddy's little girl to spoil. The sling is padded, has her name on it, done in a basket weave stamp with a thumbhole. Yes of course I ordered one just like it for me.  Anyway, look in the classifieds here, find Ernie and give him a shout. The pictures are good but the finished products are Awesome in person. Pricing is very fair, service is FAST, quality is spot ON !!! No, I'm not related to Ernie but he is a great guy putting out a GREAT product, hand made in his garage, doesn't get much better than this. I know, I know

Second that!!! I've gotten a few slings fom Ernie. He even talked me out of a "pickle sling" on a green gun one time and with a bit of conversation he made one that looks great on it. His oak leaf and accorn patterns are gorgious. Hardware: Top Shelf. 'nuff said.

Ernie made me a nice padded leather sling a few years ago. My favorite.
