ok guys had a awesome discovery today. Went to the duck hole and discovered that my Japanese Millet has come up and about 2 ft tall. I have read that it has to be disced or drill seeded to germinate. I bought a bag and had zero luck getting it out. 2 wet. Will I threw out by hand, on dry dirt with grass mixed in and it came up.
I seeded it July 4th weekend. Got about half a bag left. Gonna throw the rest out tomorrow. ! Boom!

No, jap will grow on concrete and germinate if kept wet. Not true. Your confusing Jap with browntop. No such thing as too wet for Japanese Millet. Broadcast on shiny mud flats and it will explode. No rolling necessary
