Gonna cook some briskest...I've never used it but want to....question, should I use less, same or more than regular salt. Tips and suggestions appreciated. Thanx

I use equal parts kosher and black pepper, apply liberally.

Thanks Tres....maybe stupid question but do you consider it more, less or same saltiness as table salt.

kosher salt is half the concentration of table salt so if you use table salt, use half as much

2 cups of table salt equals 2 1/2 cup kosher salt ... not quite double.

I don't Kosher salt anymore. Try Sea Salt. It has a much better taste.

All salt is sea salt. Some is more refined than others. Table salt is more refined and also has anti caking agents added. The difference in taste comes from the location it is collected/mined and minerals that are included along with the sodium chloride. Some table salt also has iodine added.

Kosher salt is less salty, I now only use Himalayan Pink salt, a very unique flavor
