This one seemed to be practicing for his final dirt nap...be sure to look at the timestamps. EVERY night he was showing up minutes after the feeder ran, then sleeping under the feeder while the corn thieves did their work.
I'd say it 'almost' wasn't any fun...but that would be fibbing. It's the first time I have picked up the tractor keys, the knives, gloves, and a pan at the same time I pick up the rifle.
Walked 50 yards from the cabin, found a good brace on a tree, and put a 6.8 in his ear hole. He didn't even need to fall down.
Sorry but I forgot to pull the game cam card with is final sleeping spot, but he was within 6" of the position in the final picture above.
