I got Buster from Jim Vance at Comanche Kennels in Teague, TX. Penny came from Steve Olkowski in NC. Her Mama was high point dog in that area year before last. Here's a pic of granddam. Penny is not quite that red but close.

I was Jacking w him. We have a 13 year old cocker that has kidney failure- she has retieved 1000's of dove, quail, ducks and pheasants all over the country.

I have many friends that have same attitude towards hunting dogs- they are a tool-

My dogs are among my best friends- and hunt and harvest birds for them- not me. I have killed plenty of birds- enjoyed to wing shoot- but it's all about the training- finished product of your best friend retrieving that bird which you figured was lost or impossible to find.

Beautiful dogs- the desire of these pocket rockets and nose is unlike any breed I have hunted with the last 30 years. We hunt South Dakota every year- the guides snickered at me w my cockers- until they saw them hunt.

Several times last year my 2 year old was called upon when 6 other labs- including the guides dog- to find wounded birds. She would track them down 30-75 yards from were the other dogs were hunting dead. Found every bird. PIc says it all
