Hey y'all, quick question

I have several hides of various critters in a deep freeze along with a ringtailed cat (whole) I hope to eventually have full body mounted. Is there a limit on how long they can stay frozen and effectively be worked with? Probably a stupid question but don't want to eventually take my ringtail in only for it to be unusable. Probably been in there for several months and will be there several more if that's acceptable.

Thanks in advance!!

Several months is OK, you should be fine. Several years can present some problems of freeze dry.

I would double or triple bag the cat for sure especially if gonna b n freezer several more months. Thin skinned critters are prone to freezer burn on nose ears and paws. They can still b used but very time consuming for the taxi.

Thank y'all very much! All of the hides are wrapped multiple times in thick black plastic bags.
