Got these in the mail yesterday. The scales are spalted pecan from a tree that fell in my late grandfathers yard. We played under this tree endlessly growing up. When it fell, I saved a big log. I knew I wanted to do something with it eventually but didn't know what.

This is the first thing I've done. I wanted a pair of knives one for edc and a skinner. I wanted them to be nice but not so pretty I'd be afraid to use them.

Mike nailed it. Very patient as I asked an untold number of questions as I decided what I wanted exactly.
