I don't think the cat is collared. The very dark color (almost black) on legs and tail is unusual. I think that something with the flash is making the coloration appear darker than it actually is. Adios, Gary

maybe I'll see him out there one day I hope I don't run into it on my walk to the stand!!! I usually don't use a flashlight. BuckRage what side of I-10 are you on? Seems like a lot of us on here hunt close to one another. South side down 163. IIRC you are east of me over by Pandale

Perhaps the black legs and tail are because it is shedding its winter coat which was black...could this be one of the black panthers that I have been hearing about???? Adios, Gary

I have hunted a 50,000 acre ranch just north of the Big Bend park that has a bunch of them sighted regularly.
