Been putting a little something aside each month and am in the market for a pocket gun. Sold my Sig P238 awhile back because: 1. I dont like pistols with an exposed hammer in my pocket and 2. It was .380.
I am looking for a 9mm that is small enough to comfortably pocket carry that does not have an exposed hammer. Any options besides the Ruger LC9? If not, are the reviews of the LC9 and LCP true with how bad they are?

Another vote for Glock 43. I love mine with the Pierce +1 grip extensions.

Glock 43. I've gone through a ton of pocket 380s and 9s over the past 10 years. Since the Glock 43 was released I doubt I'll ever change carry guns again. No exposed hammer, no safeties to mess with, 100% reliable with 400+ rounds of mixed HP, FMJ ammo. Grip extensions + night sights here.

I really like the look of the Kimber Solo but i've heard horror stories about FTF, jams, FTE, etc. If I thought they had it worked out that's what I'd buy. It's smaller than the others by a bit, 2.7" barrel, versus 3.1"-3.3" on most.

Glock 43...in a pocket holster!
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

I have a LC9S pro and while I have only fired a couple of hundred rounds through it, I haven't had any issues.

He's now carrying a G43 also.

I guess Joe Public isn't that well informed.

That's what folks hear, but they don't understand until they shoot both and see the difference.

Down between the Kahr CM9 and Glock 43. Going to handle both Saturday. The Kahr is smaller and slightly lighter, so as of right now that is the side I am leaning on.

Rohrbaugh R9 9 mm. I have been carrying one for around 10 years. They are no longer made and hard to find but they are out there. I have tried all the others but have not found one to replace it yet.

I love my 43 but not sure it's a true pocket gun. I have a PM40 that is much more conducive to pocket carry. I'd go that way with a PM9 if 9mm is what you want. It's not a lot smaller but it's enough to make a difference.

I know I'm a bit late ...but, I have the Taurus PT111 Millenium Very much like.the Glock. I have put several hundred rounds.thru.mine. Not a single problem and pretty accurate at pocket pistol distances. I paid about $220 total on mine.
