This is golden, appreciate input from someone who has carried both.

If the LC9s is half as reliable as my original LC9 then you should take a look at it. Even with the "trigger from he**" my LC9 has been 100% reliable AND accurate through the 300+ rounds I have run through it. At least give the LC9s a look.

It's small differences but they do kind of add up. It's about 1/2" shorter, about 1/10" narrower, and a few ounces lighter. The Glock trigger is much better though.

Not a single problem and pretty accurate at pocket pistol distances. I paid about $220 total on mine.

Same PT111 that is part of the Taurus $39MM settlement and being recalled? No thanks.

Yeah they replaced my wife's under recall, the Gen 2 of that pistol that they sent back is a spot on match for Glock except the safety. So far with +/- 200 rounds through it it's been a shooter.

Take a good look at the Bond "Bullpup", but not sure if they are in production yet. I got my XR-9 when they were made by Boberg and love it.

Add one for the Kahr PM9. I carry it in a pocket holster with cargo pants. It is small enough, and light enough that I can drop it in my jersey pocket when I am working out on the road bicycle. I have never had to use it in a "social" situation (hope I never do!) but it has never given me a problem at the range.

Has anyone switched from a glock 26 to a 43? I wanted a 43 for a long time but after it came out, the specs arent much different than my 26, which for me is too big to pocket carry...it makes too much of a lump...so the 26 usually stays at home and I pocket carry an lcp...which fits comfortably in the front or back pocket of any pants. Do all you 43 fans really pocket carry them?

I moved from a 26G3 to 26G4 to 43 and have never looked back. The key differences are width and weight. To me, the G26 isnt really relevant now as its not much smaller than a G19 when comparing it against the G43. G43 isnt really a pocket gun. If I were into pocket guns Id probably go LCP, Bond Arms Backup, or Doubletap route

I know it's not a 9 but a Glock 42 with the right ammo is a perfect pocket pistol.

I carry the LC9s Pro in my pocket - like it very, very much. The LC9s (striker fired) has IMO the best trigger you will find in a pocket gun. Earl

I am shocked there weren't more rec's for the M&P shield, it is a great
Little single stack that can fit in a pocket. I would seriously consider one if I were looking for a pocket carry weapon.

They are every bit of that and more, they're also reliable and accurate enough for most personal defense situations. Would I own or carry one NO, I don't like plastic pistols but I will recommend them. With the law changes we don't have to be as concerned about printing anymore so that opens the door on carry pistols. For a pocket pistol I carry a 32 Tomcat, for conceal I carry a 239 Sig.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Great carry guns. Hard to get out of the pocket for me. I carry IWB or in a holster if I'm OC.

I don't pocket carry. My 43 rides at 4 o'clock in a Alien Gear IWB holster, and only when I need to be real discreet when I carry. Otherwise it's my 19 OWB with my shirt tail out, which is most days.

I have a Kahr CW40 and though it's a little heavier than the 9mm I've put several 1000rds through it without a glitch. Most reliable gun I own or carry.

I pocket carry my 43. It is fine for doing it. Are there smaller or better guns? Yes, but I iwb carry it as well and it is invisible then. I pocket carry when wearing slacks and it is barely noticeable standing. When sitting it just looks like a cell phone in my pocket.
