I'd been playing hide and seed with this 'possum for a couple of weeks, and finally caught up with him this morning while he was trying to figure out how to crawl up into my burn barrel. Old rifle + old scope + old guy doing the shooting = Free, One-Way Trip to Possum Heaven.

I think I'll pass on the stew. This one had some really nasty looking sores on his side and stomach. Not sure what caused them, but I'll take him to the bone yard and let the buzzards and 'yotes do an autopsy.

I shot a possum last week with my 6.8SPC and there was barely anything left.

Yeah, breadman: they're sweet little rifles. That particular one has been used to teach my four children and four grand children how to shoot! They learned without a scope; old grandpa put the scope on it to help him hit at least the inside of a barn when he's inside it!

Ya Just can't beat the old Nylon 66. I have my grandads, and my dad still has his. They are great shooting little guns.

Thank You
Robert
