I just now got rain on my dove plots that I planted 3 weeks ago. Will this still make a good crop?

maybe for dove shooting late in sept or October. I planted 45 acres for big ducks last weekend just in time for the rain. was starting to look like I was going to have to be flushing ponds to get it going, but then out of nowhere comes rain in the forecast. ive had it make in a little as 45-50 days, but 60-70 is more realistic.

Had millet sit out for almost 3 weeks before. After a rain it all came up great.

planted some before these last few rounds of rain showers were supposed to come through, but they all fizzled out and got very little rain...probably not enough to germinate it. mine will be sitting for awhile as well it looks like. but I did lightly disk after planting so maybe the doves and other birds won't eat too much of it
