Elaborate?

Target type, distance, purpose, etc.

Overall it is a good idea.
You will not be able to hit a dime or quarter size target all the time. But hitting a tennis ball sized target is a no brainer at 100 yards. Unless you got a pretty crappy build.
For hunting any game it is more than adequate with exception of a very large game like a bison.

You will need a stable side mount bracket ($25 from amazon), set of rings or single base cantilever rings ($30-$35 from amazon), and a scope 3-9 or 4-12 ($150-$200 Vortex from cabelas) or bushnel dusk&dawn from walmart (3-9 or 4-16 @ $80-$90)
Alternatively POSP scope, but they are pricey ($350 or more). But they are designed for AK. But the reticle is different from simple crosshair and scope is offset to the left and requires getting used to it.

Ask away
