It looks like I'm headed to Rockport over Labor Day. Anybody have any recommendations on where to stay and who to fish with? I figured I'd ask here before I went over to the dark side and asked there but I might need to. It'll be me and a lady friend going so anyplace that's nice and clean. Also any suggestions on good places to eat?

Liteliner on TFF has a new restaurant in Rock Port that looks pretty amazing and Brian is a very good guy. I can't help with the fishing aspect as it has been a few years unfortunately. Good luck and I hope you get tight

Good grub can be found at Charlotte Plumbers, the CrabInn (at City by the Sea, where I lived for several years) between Rockport and Aransas Pass
Great fishing out in Estes Flats between Rockport and Aransas Pass

There is a Holiday Inn express in Rockport near the beach there..

Plenty of housing rentals as well.

Yea need a guide for probably 1/2 day if you know of any. They all seem to about the same price so if you have any experience with someone, please let me know.

Cheryl's is really good seafood and you take your catch them and they will cook it for you, They have 3 quality ways to cook your fish all really good in their own right.

Had a great time and caught some good fish. He worked to put us on fish.
