2lb Cross Rib Roast Slow cooked in a crockpot with Lone Star Beer, Potatoes , Carrots ,onions & celery.

 ... no telling how many times I have had very similar for Sunday lunch over the years ... everything but the beer, wife uses a couple cups of water with beef bullion cubes.

I did one with a chuck roast a couple of weeks ago. Mine is similar. I use Lipton Onion Soup mix.
