Luke is barely one year old, he is protective. He just does not like the trash pick up guys  He is also beginning to talk to us instead of barking, it's a trip

Great looking dog..they will talk to to you. Is he a runner? Buddy he is like a sled dog, if he sees a squirrel or a rabbit hang on because he will drag you for a while. Crazy thing about him he was a flea invested 49 lb rescue dog that lived in 6 or 7 places before we adopted him. He was house broken and would sit when asked, somebody abused him because he was cowed when we got him. After about 3 months he seemed to realize he was part of the family.
