About an hour ago, a shelf I have had for so many years I cannot remember where I got it...it collapsed. I can only guess how many hours of organization and sorting were lost. Not my day, I guess.

Bad as it was, it could have been much worse...my presses were all on top of the shelf unit. Most of my plastic ammo boxes of brass to be reloaded stayed closed, but one that held my current .223 busted open and mixed with a bunch of range pickup 5.56/.223, so I had to pick through a few thousand and find the 50 LC15s. I did. I have a good shelf unit in the garage I'll bring in this afternoon.

I would have shut the door back and walked away for a while to cool off. At least you got a good jump on it now though.

Makes me sick and it's not mine, good luck RR and glad it wasn't as bad as you initially thought.

Ouch, not good. That almost happened to me once, but a reloading manual caught it in time.

It'll be okay. I already derived a bit of satisfaction by heaving the junky old shelf out into the driveway. I may spend a few minutes jumping up and down on it this afternoon...and I have a good shelf unit out in the garage to replace it.

Anyone wanna buy an old metal shelf?

Thats exactly what the 8x33 shop behind the 3 car carport of the house I bought down here in Dogwood Country still looks like of just JUNKque and some really neat stuff too from the '60's & '70's...well not quite, I can at least walk through it most places. Next J O B once the heat breaks a little, is sorting thru the demo'd pile of wood still on the patio from the kitchen and laundry room to scavenge enough usable to build from scratch heavy enough shelving to Prevent That. The lemi shine bottle on the top shelf is just barley hanging on. That topping would have added insult to injury.

Weekend's coming. Just close the door and walk away for now. Tell the family you'll see them Sunday. Sux...good luck with it.

That just ain't right!

I had something similar happen.
I said a lot of bad words.
I think I even invented a couple of new ones.
