This may already have been discussed somewhere else, if so, I can't find it. We have a fairly good group of people that never got their deer back from the processor. S and S Redneck Enterprises in Kirkland. We made multiple trips but were told our deer were buried in freezer and to come back. Now we can't get them on the phone and nobody is ever there. These were all deer where the full processing fee was paid in advance. Been more than 8 months now. Anybody heard anything about these guys? We used them a couple of years without any problems, now we don't know what is going on. Any help will be appreciated.

We are not very hopeful. Multiple long distant trips to no avail. Their telephone is never answered and the voice mailbox is always full. They had relatives that operated a taxidermy shop in Childress, but not sure if that is even open anymore. Lesson learned the hard way.

I'm happy with the guy I found in Fbg. Out of his house; knows me, so there's no deposit. If he's gone, I can drag it into the cooler and fill out a tag.
'Hope you all can find a good guy like this.

S and S Rednecks wasn't a dead giveaway that you shouldn't do business with them? In all seriousness, I hope you all are made whole. Good luck!

There's a guy in my hometown with a business called Redneck Construction. I'll never use the guy because all I can think of is how a redneck would put something together.

I took a doe there a couple of years ago during bow season. After being there for 5 min I thought this place is not clean and these guys are anything but professional. I asked if they could just hang it for me for a day and I would be back to pick it up. Because it was bow season and they were not busy they charged me a few dollars. 2 days later I took the deer to Bruce Whitaker in Iowa park. I would suggest him to anyone in the panhandle who is driving back to Dfw. He has a great operation, super clean, professional and family owned. He also does taxidermy and has done my last 2 bucks.
I hate this happened to you but honestly I'm not surprised.

Same situation happened to us exactly. Still trying to get the meat. Been using them for 3 years and never had a problem and their stuff is decent, especially just for ground and breakfast sausage. Typically take everything during season and able to pick it up before seasons over. But had 3 late deer taken and still cant get them. I get responses every now and again, but still fighting to get them. Sucks.

Problem is if the meat is frozen quarters and trimmings, what ever they make of it will not hold up. Call the sheriff and ask they go talk to them about it.
They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason!

Tdhadley - I am hearing from quite a few people, all with the same story. Will be back that way in a few weeks and plan on visiting with the game warden and the sheriff. Will let you know if anything positive happens.

If you get anything from the processer it better be cash. Been this long I wouldn't think the meat would be fit for anything but coyote bait.
Brayden (Lazy L's Southern Comfort) you will be missed! You were more than a pet you were my reason to rise and return for many days! You were my rock! 12/26/03-10/25/13

I agree with RLoving1, get your money back and forget about the meat. Sorry, but I would not want to eat anything that I got back from someone that required some type of law to get it back.

I wouldn't trust the "freezer" that meat has been in this long either. You never know.
