So me and EK headed back to Goldthwaite today to try and catch a few bass and just hang out and relax. EK went to one spot me and my boy went to another spot and we were both unsuccessful at first to we walked over to where EK was. It was about 2 pm hottest part of the day so I didn't have many expectations right off the bat. I cast again and as soon as my worm hits the water and before I had even taken up the slack my line start moving left to right I knew a fish had the worm so I slowly reeled until I had a tight line and set the hook. I knew it was a good one as soon as I set the hook and there was no give at all. Once I reeled her in I knew I had one of the biggest bass I've ever caught. Not sure if this girl was a late spawner or what but boy did she have a big ole belly.

Nice fish. Did you weigh it. Looks like 9 to 10 lbs. in the photo.

Nice fish. Did you weigh it. Looks like 9 to 10 lbs. in the photo. didn't have a scale but this fish has gave me a reason to get one. I was estimating between 6-8 lbs but it very well may have weighed more.

Actually I got by there as ER was leaving and he said he caught two. I caught 5 in about 8 cast at one point haha. ErathKid makes about 1 cast for every 10 I make. He just enjoys being at a beautiful lake with good friends. The fish are the icing on the cake.
