We are going through FF right now and most of it has gone very well.

Hold training went better than expected and the ear pinch portion from hand and onto the ground all went smoothly.

We hit a few bumps when we started walking fetch and stick fetch. I learned a lot about about my dog through all of it. We had a few head butting episodes and I learned I need to be more patient and just because the dog knows something in one setting doesn't mean they know in another setting. This lesson is going to serve me well as we move along in her training.

Yesterday it all came together and she pinned several marks (pigeons) 50-75 yards, ran hard, came to heel and held perfectly.

We just started simple casting this evening and it went really well. It looks like she'll be more than ready come Sept 1st.

It feels great when their lights start turning on.
