The wife and I just got back from Scotland and I thought I would share some some photos I took. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Having only seven days, we only scratched the surface of what all we wanted to see. We saw almost everything we wanted to see in Edinburgh and the Highlands, so our next trip will be to the northern part and the islands. Edinburgh Castle  A ghost tour in Edinburgh to the underground and Greyfriars Kirkyard  My wife and Hazel the Owl, whom we saw while walking around the Royal Mile in Edinburgh  Getting to see the most extensive (and expensive) collection of whisky at the Scotch Whisky Experience  Rosslyn Chapel

Great photos!! I have heard there is good stream fishing there iirc? Maybe that was New Zealand?

Great photos!! I have heard there is good stream fishing there iirc? Maybe that was New Zealand? We saw tons of people fly fishing for salmon in the local rivers. If I had more time and $$$, I would have snuck in a day or two of fishing myself!

Great pics. Didn't expect to see cattle grazing. Once you get toward the Highlands, the livestock are everywhere. Scotland actually has a few million more sheep than they do people. There were also tons of Highland Cattle, Angus, Holsteins, and Ayrshires.
