Hey all, not sure if this is right forum or not, but I will take the heat, can you safely
feed texas deer dry dogfood? Lost my 10 1/2yr old Yellow Lab last week and cleaning out
pantry, have about 7 lbs or so of some left over Purina dry, benefil I think? deer should
eat it?
comments? or I guess I could feed the catfish in pond?

Mix with a couple pounds of corn and Milo or wheat if you have some in a 5 gallon bucket with water. Let it sit for a few days and then go chum for some catfish. Or pour in a hog trap.
Or just give it to someone with a dog

Seems an old possum likes my dogs food, put a handfull out lastnight just before dark and
the some local critters found it.......
did give the rest away to one of guys at work for his country dogs.....
You dont really appreciate your friend until she's not there in afternoon when you drive home from
work and you see the backyard empty!.....

Hogflyer,
I am sorry for your loss. We had to have our 14+ year old chocolate lab put down in December. My wife had to handle it all since I was off on a week long hunt. It tore her up and we still miss the dog every day.
