Thought about having my setter force fetched, but I ran across a lab pup that was in training and not priced too bad. I like to duck hunt as well as quail hunt so I thought I would just get both things taken care of. A duck dog that I can take quail hunting to fetch.  His training will be done in September,

Let us know how it works What interested me was an article I read in the latest Retriever Journal, the author started doing it because the lab is built to retrieve. I'm doing it because there's no way I could get my setter to sit still dove hunting and my short hair doesn't like anything in his mouth. So new pooch, which just thrills the s**t out of the wife
