Well, in addition to my B&W female (Pepper) I made a road trip Sunday and picked up this orange male (Buck)
I've got big plans for these two!

You are about ready to start your WM kennel. Great looking pups.

It looks like you have drank the Kool-Aid for sure. There is no backing out now. You are knee-deep in it as several of us on this forum are.

Next year should be a great year.

I thought I had seen it all, but this takes the cake!
Fed Ex truck pulls up to my house this evening while I was outside playing with my pups. Driver hops out and walks over to me to ask for some directions to a neighbor's house a few miles down the road. I was in the middle of my spill when I looked over at my pups, both on full point, staring at the driver. The driver was about 10 feet away with a warm breeze blowing from him to the pups. I was amazed at how intently both pups were so solidly locked down on this stranger. I asked the driver if he had been shipping any quail today, to which he replied No. Puzzled, I asked him if by chance he had eaten quail for lunch. Again he replied No. Oh well, I thought to myself, maybe it's just the pups' reaction to an unfamiliar person and nothing more. The delivery guy thanked me for the directions and got back in his truck. As he slowly began to drive off I hollered to him that I had not gotten his name. Robert White, he replied, but everyone calls me Bob! smile

Funny you should mention "short coupled". I have been thinking he is a bit short body wise as well. Now I'm wondering if this is a desirable thing or not??

In my opinion yes. He should really look good running and be able to cover some ground. I always preferred a short coupled dog myself. But that is just me. His feet look tight too. And I like his head.

There's a really good article on Elhews in the latest Pointer Journal.

You're a good man. Or maybe a patient one. I've got a four month old pup right now and I wanna kill her on a daily basis. She's cute as all get out though, that's her only saving grace!
