Did you do the Waterdog hike? Yep that was it! That was the first lake, there was too much snow still to make it up to the upper lake (we were just in hiking shoes and shorts.

Pretty country out that way. I also really like Snowmass Lake. I definitely love living in CO and having access to hundreds of thousands of acres of public land! I do a lot of fishing in the Arkansas River between Canon City and Salida. Excellent trout fishing!
