I thought that I would give the folks on this board a chance at this before I put it on one of the auction sites.
For sale, a Schultz and Larsen M60 in 7x61 Sharpe and Hart caliber. With the exception of a few marks on the stock that I've photographed, the rifle is in gorgeous condition; it looks like it's been hunted about 10 times and shot only two or three times. That's the problem though. The barrel was neglected and I think that it's bad. I tried several bullets without success. I finally got 160 grain original Barnes X bullets to group well at 50 yards, but the 1:12 twist wouldn't stabilize them at 100 yards. For the sake of this ad, please assume the barrel on this rifle is bad and act accordingly. No rings or mounts are included. I prefer to perform a face-to-face transaction in the Allen Cabelas parking lot or some similar secure public place. I'll answer all PMs in the order they are sent.
