How do these stack up against a similar price point SS T3, Ruger 77??
I know that the Wby Vanguard is a dressed up Howa, but Legacy Sports, the Howa USA Importer has dropped the Howa SS for a Cerekoted Series...which would ya'll buy and why? Ron

I would take stainless over anything coated - with anything. But that's just me.
The Weatherby is manufactured by Howa for Weatherby, to Weatherby's specifications. They also do this for Webley&Scott, and for Nosler.
What I hear is that the Weatherbys have better barrels than the Howas, they certainly come better finished if you get the Deluxe or Lasermark versions.
For a stainless rifle, I'd call Legacy Sports to see if they still have any stainless Howas in stock, or simply order a Weatherby Vanguard. My favorite Weatherby stainless model is the Accuguard, with the hand-laminated composite stock.
Some like the Cerekote. If you like it, both Howa and Weatherby sell coated versions.
