Time to start locking in your dates for your fall and winter Nilgai Bulls. Those big Blue Bull capes will start looking great again around the first of September and will remain in excellent shape until around the first of March. If you have not done this yet or can't wait to do it again, let's start putting it together. My dates for Jan and Feb are almost fully booked but there are still some options to make it work. I have several options in Dec for 2 hunters at a time as well as Nov. Sept and Oct are still flexible for up to 4 hunters at a time. For those that frequent this site, you have seen a lot of pictures of our big bulls but for those that would like to see pictures , please PM me or you can visit my website at www.piercetrophyhunts.com.Price will remain the same as last year and will be $2,950 for a bull hunt which includes lodging, meals, guides, animal preparation, and camp guns/ammo if needed. This is a free range, walk and stalk hunt on 10,500 acres just north of Raymondville, Tx. Extremely high success rate on our hunts. I would love to say 100% but 1 hunter last year did not get an opportunity and he is coming back next month at no charge. Please let me know of any questions. Thank you in advance for your interest.

What caliber rifle do you recommend? Would a 30 Cal. Bullet be sufficient? Also what is your typical shot distance?

We are able to get the majority of our hunters within 125 yards. Shots are primarily taken from shooting sticks and we do our very best to put the hunter in a position to take a high percentage shot. We strongly recommend .338 and above and we have camp guns and ammo to use at no adtl charge if needed.

That last bull is a STUD! I hunt Nilgai as often as possible, they are extremely tough animals. Probably my favorite animal to hunt now. Once you go, you will go back!

My group that had the 1st weekend of January had to move their dates today due to conflicts in their schedule. I got them rescheduled but now I have one of the best weekends available for hunting Nilgai Bulls. I already have the ranch and lodge booked for 4 hunters so I just need to plug another group of 4 in. Group would need to arrive Thurs, Jan 5-hunt Jan 6,7- then depart Sunday, Jan 8. I cannot adjust these dates due to the tight scheduling that I have in Jan. This is prime time for big bulls and a very exciting time of year to hunt. $2,950 per hunter. Please let me know if interested. Plenty of references available if needed

I have booked Nilgai hunts with this outfitter 3 years running now. NEVER been disappointed. First class facilities, property, guides, management, and most importantly, ANIMALS. Not only will you have ample opportunity to pick your animal, you will also have the opportunity to see and appreciate multiple other species while hunting. This is definitely an annual trip!

Well, the freezer was getting low and been feeling the pressure from my wife to replenish the Nilgai supply. Planned on shooting a "meat" bull but this one was a little bigger than I thought. 2 shots with a .375. Ended up being a pretty nice bull. Always a fun hunt for these bulls!

Congrats to our hunter yesterday. Took a very nice bull. Said they saw about 80 young bulls, lots of cows, and several water buck and oryx. Definitely holding a lot of animals right now.
