If I'm trading for a used ranger from someone in Oklahoma and they don't have a title should that be a red flag? If not what should I ask for and what do I need to know about with trading out of stated (taxes, titling, etc)?

Of course it's a red flag. The fact that its out of state will compromise things even more since there's no title, I'd walk away.

No it's an individual. From what he's said and from what I've found searching the internet is that in Oklahoma a title isn't required for a utv so very few have them titles. From my understanding if he has the manufacturers certificate of origin it's similar to the title. Any truth or insight on that?

Call a UTV dealer in OK and ask them. Should have better knowledge of law and such.
