A person buys a place in the country to get away from the city and instead of building their house in a secluded place they build it next to the fence where they can see the neighbor. If you lease a place to hunt it is alright to put your blind where you can't see your neighbor and he can't see you. Isn't that what hunting is about? To get out in the middle of nature?
Or never lived in the city in my case. We have an open field bordered by a neighbor on 2 sides and I would rather have a blind on our shared fence where I can hunt the whole field without having to pass on shots due to them possibly crossing that fence. Of course we have good neighbors and they don't care and we don't care if their best place to setup is on or close to a fence we are all only shooting on our sides.

Our place has a hill on the east side, a blind on the east fenceline allows a hunter to hunt all of that hill side. That area includes 2 stock tanks, one on the north end and one on the south end.

When we got new neighbors the people to the east of us put 2 of their blinds so they can watch the same hill side. It is our hillside, they "technically" cannot legally shoot across the fenceline.

We had one blinds on that fenceline until they built theirs, now we have 4, gut pile evidence on the wrong side of the fence convinced us we needed 3 more blinds.
