I've looked at the AB3, and it just seemed cheap-feeling to me. I have a few T3's and they all are wonderful rifles. Accurate, dependable and tough. Good out of the box trigger. That being said, if you can get a Browning XBolt in .270 Win. you'd have a winner as well. I have an XBolt in .270 and it shoots every type of factory ammo that I've tried very well, enough so that I haven't started handloading for it yet. Weatherby Vanguard is another good one.

I bought a 270 Winchester Featherweight for my son a couple of years back and it shoots very consistently! Every year I shot 2-3 shots at the range and they group about an inch and I only shoot targets once per year. In fact I think I like it more than my Sako 75 270!

The Tikka may be a better value, but the Brownings are very nice.

I love the accuracy of the T3s but the stocks they put on them suck...at least the black rubber ones do.
