Anybody carry or for second weapons in hidden places have a small caliber 22, 25 acp or 32 acp? Just wondering. Have everything from 22 up and that includes 380 acp, 9mm, 38 special, 44 special, and 45 acp's. Bought and Carry a 32 Seecamp (I bought 2 unfired at a heck of a price) as a boot gun and that thing is the nicest put together pistol I've seen in a micro pistol. They are tiny and could conceal anywhere. Hope I never have to use the 32 as some folks say it would just make a person mad if you got shot by them. Wouldn't want to get tapped as they hold 7 with one in the pipe. Just wondering.

Outside of LEO folks, who carries a second piece on them on a regular basis?

I'm not 100%, but I don't think an LTC holder is allowed to carry more than one HG on his person at a time.

I believe you're mistaken on this.

I know you're mistaken on this. There is no limit to the number you can carry.

No limit to how many a LTC carer may carry.

I cast and reload for the 25 & 32 Auto; along with the 380 Auto, 9mm Luger, 9mm Makarov & 45 Auto. I don't have a problem carrying any of them for self defense and base my choice on clothing or the conditions I expect to encounter.

I bought the Taurus 25PLY as soon as I saw it available. Whoever designed this pistol absolutely understood pocket carry. A blue jean pocket fits the pistol's "round nose" design perfectly. In the pocket, it remains perfectly presented and has a healthy stock for a comfortable grip. It is based on PT25 which is based on the Beretta 950 which has been around since 1952. I shoot a 50-grain cast bullet of my design.

When I started looking at small frame polymer pistols the Taurus 732 caught my attention as you just don't see many 32 Autos anymore. I had been looking at the 380 Auto in the LCP but chose the TCP over it because not only did it have the slide lock but the Taurus product's slide locked back after the last round was shot. I briefly looked at the Kel-Tec offerings but them being without the slide features I did not consider them further. Anyway, I bought both the 32 and 380 Auto and shortly thereafter my wife bought a pick TCP in 32 Auto. She is very affected with arthritis and the recoil of the 380 Auto is just too much.

Both of my TCPs have been restocked from the base black with stocks that can be purchased from Taurus and have the full Galloway Precision internals plus Pachmayr Grip Gloves for my large hand. All three pistols in the picture have NiteSighter dots.

I have several of the Taurus PT-X pistols. I have two in stainless, two of the pretty flashy Rosewood Chrome and, several more in black. I really like the 22lr version and carry one in each of my vehicles and one in the bail in bag. I also have one in my hunting pack. I have one in 25 auto and really like it but it seems to stay home a lot. I am not really sure why a grab the 22lr but I do.

I have a Glock 42 and really like it.

I have a Colt Mustang and it gets carried a lot.

Used to carry a colt mustang when I was in RVN particularly when I would " go to town". They would always ask me to take it off GI and I told them if I take it off someone was going to get shot. They didn't like it but it stayed. Not sure it would do much but made me feel a little better.

The pic is rom "Saints All Day," sequal to "The Boondock Saints." There was supposed to be a third but never happened as far as I know.

Why carry a whole second HG, why not just carry an extra mag for your carry gun..same capacity.

although it may be easier to drop and grab another piece, or just drop the mag and reload your first one, but with the right practice i'm sure both can be done in a timely fashion.

with that said, a beretta bobcat 22LR or a NAA 22 or 22mag would be my choice, better ammo availability no need to reload or hunt for ammo..
