Well we keep mentioning it here in comparison with others.....this is usually my go to high end steakhouse. We went again last night. It was amazing. Started with a couple of crown and waters.....lobster deviled eggs followed immediately by their famous lobster bisque that is never on the menu, but they always seem to have. Then we ordered a bottle of Shafer cabernet...my favorite stags leap red. I highly recommend. She got the filet and I the bone-in ribeye. I should have went for the 16oz Australian rock lobster tail, but decided against it. Augratin potatoes and string beans to accompany everything. This is a meal fit for a king. Their menu is spot on. I also appreciate that they offer every cut of beef bone-in if that's your preference. Complimentary valet is a plus. Go splurge....you will not regret it.

Been twice, each time I questioned what I was paying so much money for. Steaks just didn't have any flavor and I almost had to ask for steak sauce.

Which steak did you order bp? They dry age in house...very flavorful. All prime. The filet is not dry aged because it's already like butter.

Hmmm....I don't know how you could get a bad ribeye there. To each their own I guess. You also didn't like Giant Burger if I recall.

I have read reviews on TFF and THF for years on Steak houses.
Pappa seems to always be in the Top 3 and I would say overall ranked #1.
I have yet to try Pappas

We love the food, the atmosphere, and the folks there.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

Hows it compare to the one in Houston?
Been to the one in Houston but preferred Capitol Grille in Fort Worth and even Eddie V's in Austin.

Pappa Bros is better than Eddie V's. It is one of my favorite steak houses.
