Lube the case up good, including the inside of the neck, and run that sucker through your .284 die.
I'd anneal afterward. Not saying that you have to do it, just saying that I would.

Just neck up the 6.5 brass to 7mm, and you're good. Lube the inside of the neck, and push it over a 7mm expander ball.

The ones saying run it though a 284 die are assuming you still have an expander on your stem. I'd buy a 7mm expander.

So 284 brass is that hard to find? I'm guessing he wants Lapua brass.
