I was hunting near one of my hog traps last night, and a couple of good sized boars showed up. I lined one up and pulled the trigger on my 7.62X39 riding an AR platform. The boar got away unscathed, but I took out a very mean T-Post that was about to charge me. Stopped it cold. Mean when wounded. . .
I think I'll go with the sausage. If I grind it up real well and add the right seasonings, and cook it long enough, it just may work out. One thing I must point out: I didn't get a bit of blood on me while field dressing it. And that's a first. I normally wind up looking like someone had tried to field dress me with a dull knife.
