My wife thinks my new hunting vehicle is a bit too crude to be taking into town. What do y'all think? Should I paint it? Chrome it up?

Heck no. I'd park it in my bedroom.

You might want to rig up a pad on the rear fender so you can pack your wife when you go stylin' down main street.

In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years.

^^ Don't do that. She will want to ride back there all the time. Let her build her own.

Not quite perfect. Needs a rear view mirror.

Thanks for the feedback, guys! I'll add the rear view mirror this weekend if I can get to a junk yard during the week and find just the right one to repurpose and add to the machine.

So, sleepyhunter, you're thinking it doesn't need a rear view mirror? I have sources; I have JB Weld; I have duct tape; I have miles of baling wire; I'm basically well equipped to do the modifications suggested.

OK I agree, a guy has to see what's behind him when riding a motorcycle. A very loud exhaust helps too.

Got the loud exhaust thing nailed. An unmuffled John Deere tractor engine gives me lots of Loud! And it also provides an occasional 2nd degree burn on the legs of the unsuspecting or the forgetful.

Love the one-eyed cyclops look of it.

Needs a bit of primer grey or orange. The true mark of custom build.
