I forgive my bad English, but I do not understand your question bill , if you mean that while the dog displays remain still, yes, a long time are waiting to be frightened to take flight

You know I'm more of a Sophia fan but that Irupe sure is a good looking dog too. I have one that looks very similar in markings. Thanks for sharing, over here it's just hot and dry, no bird hunting seasons are open right now so it's great that we have you coming here to keep the Upland forum fresh.
