I'd say $600 for a normal taxidermist. I have a guy who does a great job out of his garage for $400.

Ive got a family friend thats done ours for years, $325. Cheapest I've ever seen but he only does work for a handful of people. Great quality as well

I've seen $150-$800. However, price means nothing as far as the quality you may receive. I would suggest going to several taxi shops and looking at the work. Once you find one that his or her work looks good to you, let them do the work and pay their price. This way you will know you'll be satisfied with the outcome. Also, the turn around time may not indicated good or bad work and will make a difference in price if they send out capes to tanners or do in house tanning. also ask about comp mounts vs customer....I could go on and on but I won't just if you do anything look at the product not the price if you can afford to

$450 cash with my taxi. He's done a phenomenal job on all of my deer. Currently has an axis of mine and charged $525 on that one.

I just payed $600 For a mule deer, I get mine back in 6 months
