Is it legal to trade black powder for smokeless powder, pound for pound?
 I am allergic to stupidity. You can't fix Stupid, but you can occasionally head it off before it hurts someone.

I didn't think trading BP for smokeless was a problem but I know selling it is a big no no. Just wondering.

Thanks for all the responses. The reason I asked the question is I have several pounds of 3F Goex Black Powder I would like to trade for Bullseye or 2400 or 296 smokeless powder pound for pound.

i wouldn't mind having some more
3f goex, but the last 2400 i bought
was around $24.00-27.00 a pound, and
the last cans of black i bought was
$16.00 a pound.

Current prices are $17.98 for Goex and $24.99 for 2400. How about trading 4 lbs 3F for 2 lbs of 2400
