I heard about a new Shield 45 that is suppose to be coming out and forgot to post about it. Anyone heard anything about it? What are your thoughts?

If it's like the 9 and 40 should be a good little gun.

that's what I was thinking. I wonder how many rounds it will hold and what the size comparison will be

I bet that little thing is a handful for recoil.

If it shoots like the xds surprisingly it's not that bad. It's a 45 in a small polymer frame it's gonna have recoil but even a 380 is snappy in a small gun. Is rather have the extra stopping power. Not going to be shooting that one every day.

I agree with you J.H. It was really just a random thought from remembering the first time I shot an LCR with full-power .357mag ammo.

Did not get to shoot but got to lay hands on the 45 Shield at the NRA convention this year. To accommodate the ACP size the grip is slightly thicker giving it a much better feel. Looks like a really nice pistol.

I'd agree the pro shop like the 9 and 40 being ported would make an awesome little gun.
