Sorry for you loss. She was way too young. When our daughter was 12 she wanted a kitten and we rescued a Siamese from the pound, she was 8-10 weeks old, that was in June 1997. She passed last Wednesday at the age of 19. She slept on my shoulder every night while I watched TV. I'm going to miss her a long, long time.

She had a perforated colon. We did everything we could to save her. Six days in ICU at a veterinarian specialist, and two surgeries to repair it. We would get 2-3 days after the surgery, and the colon would start to deteriorate, and leak. A third surgery would have likely had the same outcome, and I couldn't put her through anymore more pain.
