This was my daughters first hunt/first kill last October on a Texas Youth Hunt. I did the skull cleaning myself (first one) and wasn't happy with the commercial hangers so I made my own and added a photo of us together. Although not brilliant white I like the way it came out with a little yellow and will be doing more soon (two deer, two javelina heads in the freezer).

Looks nice! I personally like a more natural bone color like that one has.

Looks great!
Congrats to her on the hog!

If you would like the mount whiter, or on your next one.after you boil it and scrape it clean, make a paste out of magnesium powder and peroxide. Apply the paste to the mount with a cheap paint brush. Let paste set up and dry overnight. Then you simply rinse it off with water, it will be much whiter. You can apply the paste multiple times if needed.

X's 2, this works. You can get the higher strength HP at a beauty supply and it will do it by itself. It is much more caustic, Google it online for directions, but it is fairly easy.

Looks great and no doubt a proud moment for you and the daughter to share.
