looking for a higher grade smallish folder. Where is a good place to look? like the Benchmade quality. $150-$200.

Cabelas carries Benchmade. Some gun stores carry decent knife selections, I don't know about DFW specifically though.

Bob Dozier is very well known custom maker who arranged with Kabar to put out quality knife with his name association. I have carried one of these for 5-6 years.

Buzz,
make sure to look at the Benchmade 940. It is one of those products that comes along infrequently that is an unusually good design. It is very good for EDC, tough, durable, and a useful and comfortable size.

I used to carry Benchmades, including a couple of their autos. Then I took a chance on a Protech CQC7 from BladeOps and the Benchmades sit at home.

X2 I carry one daily and it is easily my most favorite. Lost one duck hunting two years ago and was lost until I replaced it. I have a stack of nice knives mostly bench made and the one I usually always go for it the 940.
