By "scary black rifle" do you mean an accurate bolt action in a synthetic stock with a quality scope capable of taking out targets at 800 yards and beyond. OR... A modern sporting rifle with a detachable magazine that is fun for plinking cans and hitting steel at a couple of hundred yards?
